We should protect our wild life and nature.

These pleas on posters will not take you anywhere. The errant trishaws were challenged by the metered budget taxi. They are polite, cheap and safe. Likewise it is time that a responsible business organization start a service where a code of conduct is adopted. Let the unruly guys fall in line. Initial thuggery and intimidation will be there but should catch-on with time.

Uditha,
You know the situation in Yala very well. When there is a monopoly, very little can be done against. On the other hand, not only jeep drivers are responsible, visitors too. I think this initiative by 'Lakdasun' targets the visitors.
And again what is the duty of wildlife officials? They are also responsible for the situation there.
